Not asking based on who loses ahead, how we win, etc. I'm questioning how voters around the country will look at the #12 BCS rank and may vote us a good bit higher this week in human polls simply because they see the BCS ranking.

In turn our previous 15 rank in polls has us at #12 BCS and polls are one part of BCS. That being said, we could make a nice jump into top 10 this week as low as 8 or so with other SEC game outcomes.

Anyone else thought about this?

Don't know if been discussed in last 46 hrs on here. Been away from board.

None unless someone loses ahead of us. Most folks see us as "haven't played anyone " and MTSU will do nothing to change that perception.

Pretty sure all of you missed the premise of the post..

We are 3 spots higher in BCS than human polls. Human polls make up part of BCS.

How much effect will our #12 BCS influence how human pollsters in where they rank us, if we win today. Instead of them voting us one spot up, let's say 14. Will they see our BCS rank and say "maybe they are a 10-12 rank" this upping out spot in "Human Polls". Hence our 12BCS despite 15 in polls. Up to 12 in humans, more than likely puts us on top 10 BCS.

Question is how will seeing BCS influence human thought process across country. Subconsciously seeing something all week will most likely cause some to think we should be ranked higher.
