I am sure that Ducre and Elliot will gain the majority of the carries, but what are the chances Mullen throws Montrell in the bunch to see what kind of player he is? Cant you play in the first 3 games and then get a red shirt? I think it would be nice to see what kind of runner he is especially against Auburn and Vandy and how he can run in the SEC

won't he be ready to go?

Conner needs to RS...no need to waste him with Dixon, Ducre, and Elliot ahead of him

and hopefully Elliott gets as few carries as possible in my opinions. No need to let his fragile *** get tackled more than necessary in games that shouldnt be close. Agreed with Coach, Conner needs to redshirt. The depth chart is full of RB's and we need to build for the future

I hope he and Elliot can both come back strong. If so, we'll be absolutely loaded at RB.

The JSU game is absolutely the one game that we will out talent the other team. If Dixon did play, he would only play a half or so. So it really doesn't matter if he plays or not, but to answer your question I would say Ducre get's most of the running carries.

No, you burn your redshirt if you play in a single play during the year. The only way you can still get one is if you have a major injury very early in the season that causes you to miss the rest of the season.

Perkins is more versatile. He can be used in the passing game and on special teams. I'd rather go with Perkins than Conner if just had to play one of the freshmen.

Conner seems more like Dixon and Ducre. Perkins looks like he could be a nice change of pace, shifty and quick.

and Conner stays in the stands with a big red shirt on. Perkins will play before Conner this year it either one of them play. Conner is going to be a project and I think Mullen would be wise to wait to use both of them next year.

Don't be surprised if you see Chad B and others take direct snaps this year also.......

Stallworths knee won't be ready to go until mid season. Knowing him I wouldn't be shocked to see him push it and try and get out there sooner but 6 months is 6 months when talking torn ACL's.
