I'm not so sure he could replicate the type of success he has had at BSU. This is the toughest conference in the nation.

What if any contacts as far as recruiting does he have in the south? Although that can be solved with capable assistant coaches who have cultivated and developed recruiting pipelines. However, one thing that I keep thinking about is will "momma" let little junior go off and play for someone who is a Scientologist??? I personally, could care less what he is. But I know how people think. For the most part people in our recruiting area are not as open minded as people out west.

but, i have hired my share of executives in positions that I know a hire can't be made only on emotion and flavor of the day. In making a hire such as this ALL facets of the hire have to be taken in consideration. I have enough confidence in GB to make a great hire for us, regardless of who it is. Last time I checked, message board posters had little if any influence in hiring a high profile head coach. BB
