With beating UGA this weekend our time losing steak has a new face

The Tennessee Volunteers. the last time we beat them was 1994. Peyton Manning was a Freshman and Walt Harris played for us.

They will not be rebuilt in 2 years when we play them again. We will still have Cox, Boyd, most of our secondary, Tyler Russell, and all of our receivers except Berry

...and most of these players will be seniors.

Last beat them cocksuckers in 1999, prior to beating LSU later that year.

We were down 21-7, and knocked Todd Helton out of the game. Peyton came in and you could tell that he was special as a true freshman. I thought that day he would lead UT to a national championship when he was a junior or a senior. I was almost right- that darn Steve Spurrier.

But, we had to convert several fourth downs, including one that Eric Moulds hauled in and made an unbelieveable move to get a first and goal, and then on fourth and goal, we went with a rollout pass and hit a wide open Kendall Watkins for a TD.

We beat South Carolina fairly regularly in the 90's.

That decade spoiled us MSU fans. Did not who we were playing, we felt that we had a chance to win. That was a good feeling that I hope we get back one day.

....I feel like we can beat anyone on our schedule, except Bama. I'm not saying we will, but we're competitive enough to have a chance. And the way Bama looked Saturday, we could hang there, too.

Didn't they go 0-11 the year we won the west? They could play alright on defense so they were never blown out, but they had an offense that would've made Croom's O look like the 99 St Louis Rams.
