Thanks for informative article, never really followed the baseball team as closely as football and baskets. Look forward to keeping an eye on the boys this spring.

That is the culture change in the fanbase.

WVU to have success must have a fanbase that treats the sport equal to basketball.

Serrano will help the pitching.
Can’t remember the player offhand but WVU has a decent Friday night starter if he takes another step up.

The power is not important if you can run the bases and get great pitching.

College Baseball is an exciting sport.
Especially since they changed the bats. A lot more great pitching, defense and smart baseball with situational hitting.

The issue with WVU to advance any further is their pitching.
You must have an ace to win in the NCAA Tournament.

Good to see that they are finally getting respect around the country as they are either ranked or have been considered in all polls.

This year for many the Top 3 are clear. The question will be can the conference dominated once again outside. If that is so and WVU finishes 4th they have a slight chance to host a Regional.

Hosting a Regional is their next step. To do so they must be considered one of the Top 16.

You have to have more than an ace you have to have someone that can follow the ace up.

Texas had that problem last year but they are returning all three of their starters plus their midweek starter.

No one in the Big XII will touch Nolan Kingham Texas’ ace. Might win every Friday night start.
He might be the best starter in CBB. He can throw in the high 90’s at times.
