With so much riding on measurements during a game, the oldest part of the game needs a change. What if there was a kink somewhere in the chains...it would turn 10 yards into 9 yards 2 feet and 10 inches, ala today. Why cant we have a high strength fiber or plastic that would prevent this issue. MSU research...GO!

Hopefully, Steve Shaw didn't really mean what he said when he claimed the refs made the right call. It's refspeak. Just like the coachspeak when Mullen said “We’ve got the best officials in the country and the guy is about that far away from it,”
Mullen knows the truth. Steve Shaw knows the truth. Hopefully, appropriate action WILL be taken, but with SEC's history ... I doubt it.
Mullen is a smarter man than I am because I would have said something inappropriate about the refsafter the game.
