Mullen moved into 5th all time in wins at MSU with 23, passing Wade Walker with 22. 7 more wins this year and he would move into 4th all time. Just a nice little tid bit I thought I would pass along.

And as a personal aside, I'm hoping the possibility of being the best coach in the history of one of the charter members of the SEC is incentive enough to keep him here. I really believe he will have long term success at MSU as long as he stays here.

Untill he surpasses 1941, he's got work to do. But, I already believe he will. Sorry wool is thick.

#1 is JWS with 75 right? At the track Mullen's on at 7 a year he should break that in 9 or 10 years. The Kang did it in 13. And also lost 75 games.

If Mullen wants to stay he'll run away with the record before the age of 50. That's just crazy to me.

If Mullen can get to 9 wins this year

that would put him at 30 career wins. From there all he would need to do is average 7 wins over 6 1/2 years and he would have the record. If he were able to do that, it would mean in under 11 years as the head coach at MSU he would break the school's all time wins record of 75. And yes that is held by Jackie. Not sure I really see anything stopping Mullen from attaining that. If he wants to stay here that long, I really don't have any doubt he will break it.
