I have a feeling that Olympic final last summer is going to be a regular occurrence over the next couple Olympics.
With this many French players being drafted in the NBA….

I have been surprised at how underwhelming Canada has been this last decade, given all their NBA players. Many have been stars/t40 league players each year, even.
France hasn't had near the overall total, but has managed to be effective in global play.
I remember when Parker and Diaw were done, a narrative was that Frandew as also done. That sure didn't age well.

60 guys in the world get an NBA deal each year and then the rest are treated like leftovers.
Crazy that all 5 Duke starters were in that 60.
First year I can remember that Cal has not had a 1st rounder, folks are saying he has lost his appeal in the elite ball parents/agents circles
13 SEC players made the list of 60. Florida with 3. Tenn with 2. Kentucky with 2. Auburn 1. Bama 0.

How about 2 Rutgers guys going at the top? Did we play against them? They were wondering on XM84 how you can have those 2 and end up with that record. Also going over others that were drafted and their various deficiencies but had the "right mentality". All I could think is poor Cam, if he could just shoot a little better he's all that and then some.
Rutgers is wild. Did not make the tourney and had TWO top 5 picks. That is a first ever. Both Harper and Bailey had NIL deals with Nike and Rutgers. Duke is the only other team with 2 players in the top 5. Duke. Rutgers. Insanity.
Also, Dallas basically gave Luka to the Lakers to get Flagg. That is wild.
Admittedly I don't keep up but French NBA player influx was not on bingo card.
