I ask because of Mullen's offense and the "Tyler Russell will transfer" rumors.

Scout says he runs a 4.72 and I think he has at least one rushing touchdown in each game so far. According to BDJ he has 22 combined touchdowns on the year.

Yeah, that is the reason I did not acknowledge the TR statement. As for Witt, it is my understanding that if we offer he is ours to lose. We just may not offer.

I think we could benefit from both of these guys. As for Witt going to southern miss, I extermely doubt this since they already have 2QB commits and arent recruiting Favre at all.

The reason for the rumors was because of Russell's supposed lack of running ability. I don't think Russell will transfer either, but at the same time, I don't think it's any secret that Mullen prefers a QB that can run.

Im pretty sure this is why Barnes is mixing in some option into his offense this year. Witt has pin point accuracy and obviously from this years stats can run also.

He throws a good ball and moves pretty well. He is definately the best athlete on the field. He didn't seem to check to any of his other receivers, but he really didn't have to. Lamar has a fast tall receiver that he connected with most of the time.
