I gave the Spirit boys a heads up on the replay and told them what an impressive one year winning streak that was. It stayed on the board for 45seconds.

If OM did not have the media in their pockets, their program would be dying in MS. They already are depending on out of state students to keep enrollment up. Keep whipping that butt and it will happen even more.

State already enrolls more intelligent students already....

The rise of The Mississippi State shows the moral and spiritual superiority of OUR School over the university of ole miss. Both David Cutcliffe and Ed Orgeron were failures there, but are now wildly successful at Duke (first 9 win season in 70 years) and USC respectively. They also drove another successful coach, Houston Nutt, out of coaching. Now they're about to circle the drain with another potentially good coach in Hugh Freeze.

Another thing is- what did they have to promise the freshmens to go there? 4 and 5-* players don't go to a Sun Belt-level program without exacting some price. For example, their best player Donte Moncrief had a sub-par (for his standards) season because Freeze kept on trying to get the ball to LaQuon Treadwell. Moncrief will be a huge star in the NFL, but because the moral and spiritual inferiority of Ole Miss, they decided to not feed him- the other night, he looked more hungry than an Ethiopian famine victim.

And Renardo Nkiemdeche running the football? Why didn't the coaches simply tell him the first day, to just shut up and do what he's told? This class is the MSU 1999 recruiting class on steroids.

I'm not so sure that Cutcliffe was a failure, I think Pete Boone was the cause of his failure. Seems to be a good man.

Yea, kind of like they keep the 1997 Egg Bowl on a loop on the college football flashbacks yet I've NEVER seen the 1999 Egg Bowl on there.

Cutcliffe IS a good man and a good coach. However, by the time he left Ole Miss, his health was broken and he almost died. Looking at him now at Duke, it's the healthiest and happiest I've ever seen him.

Also, Ed Orgeron is BELOVED by the USC players. Ole Miss players loathed him....why is that?
