10:30 at Rockefeller Plaza. Really? That’s not good
Yeah.. not a good sign.. so many cities in trouble and it is all unnecessary.

Saw a title of a youtube vid pop up in my feed saying "every store is CLOSED on market st San Francisco". Not technically true... but these guys learn what titles get the views and make them money... and what the video shows is bad enough...

No weapon was flashed in the incident.

Equals if caught will be released with out bail and the incident, if prosecuted at all, will be downgraded to a misdemeanor malicious mischief or disturbing the peace fine.
Community service which the guy will never do.

And they'll get Mets tickets for showing up., although these days that might count as community service.

It's not just NYC , it's everywhere, cities , suburbs, small towns. In the most affluent towns cars are being stolen at alarming rates. Heck a guy can cut out your catalytic converter in 20 seconds.
Yep. In March, my brother's next-door neighbor had their Range Rover stolen out of their driveway in the middle of the afternoon. They live in Westfield. When I lived in Bridgewater, our community put out notifications every other week about reports of cat converter thieves. Scumbags.

The lack of arrests and prosecution of cons in the big cities is definitively spilling crime into the burbs.
Most car thefts in the Jersey burbs are then driven back to cities such as Newark and Paterson.

Be vigilant fellas.

It's actually interesting about the converters-- a real skinny guy jumps out of a car , slides under the car ( they love vans better) and use battery operated cutters - isn't technology great. Cameras are useless since they wear masks and are amazingly quick. Meanwhile they are taking photos on their iPhone of other neighbors cars for later orders.

"The possible accomplice who is being sought for questioning was wearing red sneakers, a black shirt, blue jeans and a cross-body bag, according to authorities."

NJ.com:
Rutgers Sports Supporter and Reporter Bruce Beck Robbed, Accomplice Wearing Rutgers-colored Sneakers

Didn’t realize that celebrities are immune to robberies. Guess this criminal didn’t get the memo

If you follow retail earnings announcements all the major retailers said their earnings for this quarter were significantly affected by a major increase in "shrinkage". These "poor souls" who shouldn't be prosecuted are having an impact on the economy that is in the BILLIONS. Public companies might be able to get through the losses, but mom and pop small retails can be driven out of business. But they don't seem to count anymore.
