Another iowa team loses. So sad!
This wasn't the Iowa football team. Did you listen to the Iowa Basketball player's and the coach's press conferences? They showed more class in a loss than LSU (Reese showed the I can't see you and the ring finger signs to Caitlin before the last whistle). In the trophy ceremony they had to keep telling Reese that the rings weren't ready yet.

That’s better than her outfit for the semifinal game. Maybe.

Did not watch the second half, out walking with Fonzie and our neighborhood dogs.

But the first half officiating was the worst half by Zebras that I’ve ever seen in my 73 years. Absolutely pathetic, Iowa was ticky-tallied to death.

The discourse on social media is everyone is racist for calling this ‘no class’ when Clark did the same thing previously.

This drama is awesome and I’m here for it.

Well, Clark did flip off USCe on more than one occasion. Equivalency? Anything directed at LSU? Couldn't say.

Not that I know of. And when Clark did it it was for a second in front of teammates. Big difference between that and chasing down a player after a game and doing it for 15 seconds.
Saw more than one hand gesture by Clark during the semi that could have been construed as disrespectful to the opponent. Were they? Don't know. Didn't hear orb see anything directed at LSU, but that sort of thing crosses boundaries.

I thought the refs ruined a decent game. You don't want watch the game for them they called to many tick tack calls IMO.

Clark is an exceptional player, and certainly has to be a beacon for young girls. I don't think that she has been in foul trouble before this game. The "T" was hard to explain. The Iowa players gave all the credit to LSU.

Glad it made your day. For me....I like seeing any and all SEC teams lose. The arrogance of an SEC fan is beyond.
More than I smell a rat. More than the iowa fans during wrestling that yell terrible things. More than the iowa fans booing our injured players? More than lee who was all everything deciding that consolations was too good for him.

sorry. Iowa as a whole has shown no class. Also Clark did the hand face gesture and someone did it back to her. She should have laughed and said bravo.

I wish I could give more than one like. Clark is known as a trash talker. Iowa's defense was terrible. No hands in the face on those 3 Pointers. Was like playing HORSE.

That pink whatever you call it looks like a bad float in the Rose Bowl parade. She needs a couple of gay male friends to initiate a fashion intervention.

1. Clark is a fantastic player and a generational talent. Greatness comes with the wisdom to not taunt for the camera.

2. There is always an exception to this rule

3. Iowa fans aren’t really in a position to be critical of taunting.

Admittedly, I didn't see the whole game. Did Clark taunt LSU at any point?? Maybe she did, I don't know. The face thing she did was in the Elite Eight against Louisville so it's weird how it apparently festered in Reese. However, Reese's comments afterward revealed where her head was really at.

She’s a fantastic to player to watch, and I’ve done so many times. And while she’s in no danger of becoming Steve Taneyhill, there’s still room for growth in her approach to the game.

Watched the entire game. LSU couldn't miss. Credit to them. They would have won without help from the officials. But they got it. Anyone watching saw what what was going on. You'd have to have your head really deep in the sand to not see the bias.

It's like PSU players getting PO'd at Michigan for planting a flag at OSU, what was the point ? Any prior game that Clark played was irrelevant.

In the future both players will be millionaires, Clark probably a mega signing deal in the future, while most of us will complain about the price of gas and football ticket.

That's the first women's BB game i've watched beginning to end, those girls can hit the 3's.

As far as Iowa is concerned it's not football, but when they come here i'd like to see 6 or 7 players limping off the field especially the QB, option B would be hanging 50 on them.

"All year, I was critiqued for who I was. I don't fit the narrative," Reese said. "I don't fit the box that y'all want me to be in. I'm too hood. I'm too ghetto. Y'all told me that all year. When other people do it, and y'all don't say nothing.

"So this is for the girls that look like me. For those that want to speak up for what they believe in. It's unapologetically you. And that's what I [did] before tonight. It was bigger than me tonight. And Twitter is going to go into a rage every time."

I didn’t follow closely - is she saying as an ‘urban’ African-American woman she’s outside of whatever narrative there is in women’s college basketball? As opposed to?

Kudos to the Iowa women after the game, all class despite knowing they were playing 5 on 8 the entire game.

As I said that afternoon, the worst officiated game I’ve seen in my 73 years.

Five fouls on Iowa (several phantom calls) before LSU had their first foul almost 8 minutes into the game? The lack of any technicals on the LSU coach and then giving Clark the T at that point in the game for simply bouncing the ball to the end line (where the official should have been) says it all.
