Womens game thread ??

I got home. Saw the 7-0 baseball score and looked for something else to watch. Stumbled on this game. Pleasantly surprised so far.
Most posters here are only happy when they can b!tch, so the ladies winning the entire game so far means no game thread.
Women's basketball is definitely not as good but at least the maroon team is winning. That seems to be a rarity especially in men's sports
The two teams have combined for 42 turnovers. Fortunately, Cal has 24 of them and can’t throw it in the ocean.
Currently, the women are still in the tournament, as opposed to any other team on campus.
Purcell’s third tournament win at State in three seasons. Compared to any other coach in our history other than Vic, that is a great accomplishment.
They were ready to play and played tough D and with great effort. Completely shut down a 25 win team.
I'll say it again. If this team had a quality PG, they'd be Sweet 16 material.

I have never paid much attention to womens sports. Altho I have watched a little volleyball. Beautiful sport. But I digress here. Our women's softball soccer and basketball are the top performing sports on campus. They deserve support for providing wins. I wonder if volleyball shorts would make it more entertaining ??

With Texas and LSU huge favorites tonight it looks like the SEC will finish the first round of the Women's tournament 9-1.
Only loser was Vandy. We were the lowest seeded SEC team at 9. All of the wins but 1 have been by double digits.
For the tournament, 28 of 32 first round games will go to the higher seed, with 2 of the 4 lower seed winners being 9's (including us), and the lowest seed to advance being a 10 (actually 2 10's advanced).
