Shot 7-under today AS A TEAM. (In team golf, that is ridiculous; second best round of the entire regional). They are in the clubhouse and in third place at +8 (over three rounds).

Top eight make the national championships. If you realistically look at it, only #9 Florida has an outside chance at moving past them, but that still puts them comfortably in the nationals.

Individually, Ally McDonald is the leader. She's at -10, six strokes up on second place, who is on the 18th hole. There's a girl from Duke that would have to eagle her last three holes just to catch her, so State is going to likely have the NCAA Individual Regional Champion.

First time in history that State's women make the national championships. Highest ever finish was 12th in a regional. They were the 19-seed (out of 24) in this regional, and are unranked (Golf rankings go to 50). The two teams that are above them are ranked #3 and #4 in the country.
