I've said since the hire that we will use AD in a Tebow-esque way simply because he can run over people if he wants to. The trick will be getting Mullen to get that out of him. Mullen has made a career on being innovative, and beacuse of that I think he could be very effective next year

I wouldn't be upset if Ducre started in front of him. He is a harder runner in my opinion.

but he wont get near the carries...I look for Elliot and Ducre to get alot more playing time this season due to them being able to catch the football

but I remember Dixon catching the ball a few times this year.

Looking at the stats for 2008, he had 20 catches for 117 yards (5.85 average) and 2 TDs.
For 07, he had 14 catches for 167 yards (11.92 average) and 2 TDs.

Not earth shattering but he's demonstrated that he can catch the ball. Whether or not he's used that way I don't know, but I like having 3 guys that can catch the ball out of the backfield.

But AD is a good receiver out of the backfield. He'll still get plenty of PT. Hopefully Mullen gets him to run hard all the time. And I'm not counting on Elliot. He's had 2-3 surgeries on that knee. Even if he comes back, he may never be the same player.
