Wonder what Trooper Taylor is doing right now?

That was awesome. I am still on an emotional high and havent really had time to post my thoughts about the game. I will summarize...all good but the kicking.

Ok. 4 very quick things:

Russell was awesome. Pass to Jameon over the middle, passes to Bump and Green in the endzone...NFL throws. Good to see us mixing up the WR groups some.

If our front 4 can get a little more efficient at getting to the passer, we might be in the discussion of best State defense ever - again, the pass rush will have to improve a bit to get them in the conversation. Would like to see Quay getting D. Jones' snaps. Still dont like the full-out line change at DL, would prefer a staggered substitution pattern. Broomfield played a great game - very encouraging.

If this OL can hold up and continue to improve, they might make us really dangerous in November.

I like our running game, but I still miss having a real bruiser. I guess Dak will play that role this year.

Ol trooper looked like an idiot when during the second half he lead the team in front of the auburn faithful and jumped around waving his towel frantically and the team and fans barely even responded. They were llike "this is stupid". I laughed.

Got to get better on third down conversions and good lord find a kicker. That's my only concerns following the game.

Russell looked great but holds the ball a little too long sometimes. It worked out this weekend because he had that kind of time, but he has to realize he has about 3 seconds to throw the ball or he will get eaten up by the likes of Alabama and LSU. Made some big league throws for sure, as the season progresses he will improve and we could be seriously dangerous.

I watched the replay and chizik was lighting into a player and then trooper grabbed him afterwards and consoled the poor soul.

My only negative from the game was failing to take advantage of scoring opportunities. We need a better kicker, but also need to score TDs when we get it scoring position. Easily could have had 38 points this past weekend, possibly over 40. Its not just that I'm greedy and want to beat the snot out of Auburn, it really makes me uneasy to waste so many good chances.
