Offensive coordinator Woody McCorvey: "We weren't able to run the football, so then we had to throw it, and that's not what our strong suit is right now. Once they got us behind in downs, they were able to capitalize on it, put pressure on Tyson, and the results were what we all saw."

Duh!

When your "strong suit" on offense is ranked 92nd in the country, that should tell you just how bad you really are. The attitude of this entire pathetic coaching staff is absolutely appalling. It's like they think they're all just a bunch of poor little innocent bystanders that are simply trying as hard as they can. Bless their poor little hearts!

that one year of not recruiting a QB is only a portion of the problem. The rest of the problem is that after five years, the best alternative that we have at the position is a 5'9" walkon. I truly believe that every other school in the SEC has a 3rd stringer that's better than anyone we have.

until we're down by two scores and then "we're a shotgun, run around like a chicken with its head cutoff team."

"significantly" affected his play. Tyson Lee mans up and says injury was not an issue = Woody full of BS. Croom and Woody are reaching for any excuse to justify poor performance except their own incompetence in all aspects of the game. No wonder even 30 year plus MSU veteran fans are throwing in the towel on this coaching staff. </p>

recruiting, I think it is a "Polk" mentality. Coaching, we are not a fundamentaly sound team. Beyond that, I think it was before the LaTech fiasco, Kyle Veazy asked Croom if the offense was going to "open up." Even at that time, I read Crooms response to be a snide " you'll have to come & see," and today we find ourselves to be an "I" formation team. I don't have a problem w/ the "I" formation, except that it is what we ran in highschool, & I would expect more out of a college level program, let alone, SEC coaches; but could Croom not see this In August ?
