Green Run up 37-34 4 seconds to go at the line shooting free throws. Looks like Woodside’s 3peat attempt is over

Tell me about. I sat thru that and then had to sit thru traffic back to Hampton. I just feel like Woodside ran out the energy that made them special at the end. Great run but they’ll be right back next year
Agree with you on both fronts, but it always makes me scratch my head when folks tend to look at what a team didn't do (that's expected to win) as opposed to acknowledging what the other team did well in order to win that game, in surprise fashion.
Morning after and last night, I think people were looking at two of the 2-time defending State Champs that went down - Woodside in Class 5 and Northside in Class 3- as to what went wrong. Maybe more on the offensive side, lackthereof for Woodside, and defensively the breakdowns for Northside. Instead of the great runs by each AND the superb jobs that Spotswood has done year after year in Class 3 as well as Green Run in Class 5.

Good discussions... and agree the game was a relatively ugly watch, yet still think it makes for compelling storylines as we move to the State Final rounds.
