I think I know what wooly means, but I'd kind of like to know the origin of the term.

It doesn't seem to be in the lexicon.

Sheep are stupid. They just follow their sheppard. Believe what they hear, if you will.

Probably came from Genes page folks believing whatever Gene says...which was always rose colored.

The folks on Genespage believe every word Gene Swindoll says or puts in type. Hence they follow him like sheep. All Swindoll pumps is sunshine so the sheep eat it up.

The term wooly got started as a play on that.
