I just had dinner with a table FULL of OM alums this weekend, and they had NO IDEA I was a State fan. We were in New Orleans, by the way. The subject of LSU came up and they made it EMPHATICALLY CLEAR that LSU was their rival and MSU wasn't. I have yet to meet an OM fan that would admit otherwise...rightreb said:I see, speak to, or receive emails from during the course of an Ole Miss football season. Some of these people are close friends, some are people I see in the Grove, some are included in football related emails.......and none of them, ever, have said LSU is our real rival or MSU is not our rvial....or any combiantionof the two. Mississippi State is our rival. You people work yourselves up into a frenzy over this s&$%.
The older fans probably feel that way. In the 50's and 60's that was true. OM fans 40 and under see it differently.Rockydawg said:I just had dinner with a table FULL of OM alums this weekend, and they had NO IDEA I was a State fan. We were in New Orleans, by the way.
