Trying hard to learn to like soccer watching this game.

First of all you can't have American football in mind as our football is way more action oriented, fast, and exciting.

Soccer is more like baseball. Slow long periods of not much then a few nail biting seconds of pure terror.

This Doritos soccer commercial is what happens when you sink a lot of money and celebrities so the executives have to get involved.

Two breaks from Pulisic and Wright is just jogging. Get him the f*ck off the field.

That's a border RC from Shaw. FFS ref.

Wright needs to come off. We're creating opportunities and he's nowhere in the box. FFS he's been a spectator all game.

Now I understand why David Beckham was so famous in England.
Everyone else that plays soccer there looks like Sloth from Goonies

Rules don't make much sense to me, but apparently the slightest touch causes intense excruciating burning pain.

King Chuck and Joe Biden got together and forced a tie to screw over the Welsh.

Wonderful audition to introduce soccer to the American masses... a nil nil tie with England.

At what point do teams try to win games or rather when does a team win?

If we tie Iran do we advance to the tying everyone gets a trophy bracket?

Shaq gave me some worry, I did not like that sub. I will take the draw with England and our chance against Iran to advanced.

I know absolutely nothing about soccer at all. I am trying to be patriotic and learn the game since the rest of the world seems enthralled about it, but how every single game doesn't end in a tie escapes me. Why can't you just have your entire team surround the ball, then have one guy in the middle of that circle dribble around until time runs out?

No possession arrows or time limits on how long one player can have the ball, right?

Seems to me like the field should be smaller by half.

I guess this Christian Pulisic guy will be my favorite player. That quick move he put on that guy then the laser off the bar was the highlight of those 4 hours for me.

Its a bizarre game and only speaks to the sad state of the world this is the most popular game. Watching soccer alone should make us all proud to be Americans with all the sports options we have here.

Americans best athletes don't play soccer and if they did we would dominate this tournament. As it is, we have 0 shot to ever win it with our F team of athletes representing the country.

Win or go home. It’s not gonna be easy to win. We have no finishers and 7 corners this game and not a chance off any of them.

US has got to get a forward that can finish. I thought the US dominated the midfield and their defenders were solid. Although the guy who gave up the penalty against Wales damn near **** the bed in the last few minutes with a horrific turnover. The US could have easily came out with 3 points there.
