I will say this...Soccer is a great sport for little kids. You can shrink the field with ease, you can get a lot of kids out there at once, there are almost no real rules for them to learn/follow and most parents don't ruin it because they don't care at all.

They can paint a line, they just don't because it is easier to manipulate the calls. I totally get it, it is smart. No other sport has such a generic subjective rule that is probably also the most important rule in the entire sport. Hockey is the most similar and somehow they were able to paint a line.

Baseball players are probably the biggest babies, I can agree with that.

Yeah, NBA players are babies too but they are also crazy jacked. Soccer players look like me.

Totally agree on the offsides. A painted line and/or just getting rid of it and the games would be way better. Just the THREAT of more goals would make it more interesting.

Ive been to matches in the UK and once you are there its pretty cool experience. Id like to get to Spain and Germany. Interacting with different cultures and seeing their version of gameday is pretty neat too

I like when they try to tell you that one team plays with more "passion" and "creativity" my god...

Well they do seem to find more creative ways to flop every World Cup.

But yeah it's funny when soccer fans try to act like it's this highly sophisticated sport or something. It's literally just kicking a ball back and forth for 99% of the match, waiting until the other team becomes so bored that they let one of your players slip behind the defense and get a shot. And even then, most of the time they still miss.
