when did they stop showing the cards of the players? I watched it for a few minutes the other night flipping through channels. And where did Norman Chad go?

They would show when they could, but when it comes back on just on Tuesdays, should be edited to show the cards and have Norman Chad back.

They showed cards after the hands were over. I assume since it was live, there was a potential for a player or the live-audience to find out what cards players were holding. Like PTC said, they will be blasting the replays (which will basically be highlights of the action) with norman chad) up until the "November 9"

I have played my share (mostly online and home games, but a bit in casinos) but i thought it was very cool to watch live action of really good poker players playing for a **** ton of money. Even the scenarios where a person took 20+ minutes before making a call/folding was interesting. They had a famed poker pro doing commentary (I saw hellmuth & esfandiari when I was watching) and discussing everything that was potentially going through both players' heads. At one point Esfandiari mentioned the rapid breathing and pulse running through the raiser's lower neck as a "tell", as he waited 20+ minutes for a huge call. I thought Esfandiari was just bullshitting to sound intense, but the camera zoomed-in and you could actually see the very subtle movement that I, personally, would probably never have notice.
