Children of the Living Dead
gets my vote for the worst.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_of_the_Living_Dead

Russo declared that he "wanted to resign every day but I couldn’t because these people would’ve lost a summer’s worth of work. We hoped for the best and hoped it’d get revised and instead it’s a piece of crap. I call it The Living Abomination of Children." In an interview with Tom Savini about his career, he referred to the film as "the biggest piece-of-**** movie ever made" and that his lines were dubbed. Savini echoed what Ramsey stating that the "producer on the show as an idiot. I think her father gave her that movie as a present, and she didn't know what the hell she was doing" and that "the film shouldn't even be on the shelves of video stores."

Beyond the Wall of Sleep's down there too.

Hard to decide on a third since there's 1,000 candidates; horror's a genre that just invites awfulness. XD

The Haunting
The Exorcist 2
The Happening

This is tough, because there's a lot of so-bad-they're-good movies. But these above were serious movies that just sucked. Not mediocre, not disappointing.. they were just bad.

Fun fact: Dahmer was obsessed with The Exorcist 2. Like watched it almost daily and always had it playing when he gave his victims their sleeping pill, spiked drink.

Always found that odd.

What I find odd is that you know that about Dahmer. o_O

****...I just googled it, and turns out it was Exorcist III that Dahmer loved. I'm going to assume that one sucked too.

The film became a focal point of the trial of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. Detectives testified that Dahmer claimed to identify with the Gemini Killer and would play the film for some of his victims before killing them. Dahmer's final attempted victim, Tracy Edwards, testified that Dahmer would rock back and forth while chanting at various times and that he especially enjoyed a sequence with a possessed Karras. Dahmer went so far as to purchase yellow contact lenses to more resemble Miller, as well as to emulate another film character he admired, Emperor Palpatine from Return of the Jedi.[27]

I hadn't heard this fact before... but I thought it was odd Dahmer would prefer 2 over 3, when 3 was the one based on murders, even if they were demonic.

Man imagine that last attempted victim.. it's years later, you're freed, and you're finally getting back to normal.. you're on a date with the man of your dreams.. you go back to his place.. and he goes "Hey, want to watch Exorcist 3? It's a really solid flick"

Any of y’all seen Wes Craven’s the Shocker? Pretty campy but scared me at a young age. Apparently was a last grab at the slashers and/or was going to be his new series.

Have to disagree on Halloween III. It's great and has gained quite a following over the years after initially being hated for a long time, myself being one of the haters.

Raw Head Rex
The Human Centipede (1,2,3,...)
Cabin Fever

LOL, inside joke on Cabin Fever. My oldest son was down from Hopkinsville for the weekend a few years ago. The family was sitting around and came up with the idea of watching a movie. Well, we let him pick, me knowing he had never seen the movie, i bit when he said he watched it and it was very scary. Well to this day we still give him **** and ban him from picking movies. My middle and youngest son's tease the ever loving hell out of him. A month or so ago it was on one of the Encore of Showtime scary channels, they yelled for him to come in there his favorite movie was on.

Another thing, why the ONE black dude always have to be the first to die ? In the older horror flicks, the token black person, or the girl who gave it first, was always the first to go. LL Cool J kind of broke that mode (Deep Blue Sea and Halloween H20). Samuel Jackson , that MF'er always survives, well except in Deep Blue Sea, he was first. Ice Cube survived in Anaconda, was actually the hero.

Blair Witch Project has to be in there. So hyped and so bad. The theater was packed. A dude in front of us kept checking his watch, probably counting down the minutes until this clunker was over. When it was finally over, people were booing and on the way out telling other people not to waste their money. Terrible film, and probably wouldn't have scared anyone over the age of 8.

I was waiting for someone to say Halloween III. It wasn't the best movie ever but at least the bad guy won in the end and turned a bunch of kids heads into mush and snakes.

My brother, @cat_chaser , watched a movie called “Pieces” with his buddy before. I watched the first 35 minutes of it or so. It’s awful. It’s like a Texas Chainsaw homage, but done by teenagers with their parents’ handheld film maker (it’s a 70s movie; no Camcorders out yet.) Cheap. No premise. Acting as you’d expect. Seems like there may have been both male and female full frontal. Terrible looking gore/fake.

Poltergeist 3
Exorcist 2 - Pazuzu? WTF?

I see merit in all mentions and I will admit Halloween 3 is awful, but I watch it whenever it's on. Same with Puppetmaster.

If you haven’t seen Pieces, then you aren’t a horror film aficionado
