I guess you are ecstatic but I will agree with you, it was awful but if you are going to blame the coach , blame the dumb *** players for getting stupid technicals and making bonehead plays too. We looked as good the first half as we have all year but the game requires 40 minutes and we sucked down the stretch. Not one player performed in the last 4 minutes and it was a classic choke.

Kodi gets the basket, then jaws at the guy for flopping and gets the tech. The momentum clearly shifted at that point, but Stansbury did NOTHING to change that. We went right back to standing around doing nothing, and that led to sloppy play. You have to push the ball back up the court and reestablish dominance, and he didn't do that.

We don't have a coach who is a leader. He gets his lead, thenis scared about it. It's almost like he would rather play from behind. We almost always play not to lose, and thatis a huge problem.

Seriously, I think my sarcasm detector is working fine but the crap you keep spewing is beyond explanation.

Just stop. You're the last holdout. You are the lone cowbell ringer circa 2002. You are "Sherrill can still turn this around" poster from 2003. It's over. Even the most ardent Stansbury supporter (me) is completely done with him.

Reminded me a great deal of an evening at the Louisiana Superdome in September of 2003. Blowing a 10-point 4th quarter lead against Tulane.<div>

Stands does it every time, he stalls... Why ???? If you are up by 19, keep on running, you might be up by30 in a few....

It's the fact that we never score when we do it. If we could get easy shots or get to the line while running clock, it's a good strategy. Unfortunately, the fact that we just dribble for 34 seconds then jack up a 24-foot 3 pointer is the problem. And, that lies with Rick ultimately.<div>

It's ok that you feel the need to stand up for your grandchildren like that

I don't mind running a little clock, but running the Harlem Globetrotter weave for 20 seconds in the frontcourt isn't an offense. Call a play, get someone in the post the ball, just do something. But running a weave then heaving up a 3 or making stupid passes and turning it over is unacceptable, especially with a 19 point lead. I've never seen a team play as nervous as ours does with a double digit lead.

I personally think it's a lack of talent and willpower down low. A bunch of primadonnas but guess what....Rick recruited them.

they were clearly able to score at will earlier in the game. when you have them stand around for most of the shot clock and then don't have a plan for what they are supposed to do as the clock winds down, you'll end up with crappy, long distance looks most of the time

a 70 year old man (Sherrill supporter) and a 30 year old guy almost didn't get into it (5 rows behind me).

And QuitBeggin didn't get into a verbal sparring match with this woman while her husband just shook his head because his wife had no idea what she was talking about.

And QuitBeggin didn't fart while walking up the stairs to leave our section and I say to QuitBeggin - "Did you fart" and he replies "Yea and these people deserve it".

That night at Three Card Poker in Philly and comped a meal and room. I did still wake up pissed though.
