it had nothing to do with not liking Starkville and more to do with missing mommy. Johnson's wife is like 20 years younger than him and did not like the fact that during the season, she was home alone with the kids all the time. Apparently, either mother or father is in poor health and could not travel to Mississippi as much as they would like. According to my friend, Johnson's wife hit the roof when she found out they were moving to Fayetteville. He apparently met her when she was a student at Clemson and he was an assistant.

My guess is that she hid his viagra until he started looking for another job.

and lives down the street from her now. Godmom is an Ole Miss grad and the only reason I even heard the story was because the last time we visited them, she came home after we had been there for a while. When she came in she apologized and said she had just come from a friend's house whose daughter had recently moved from Starkville. She then told the rest of the story without any questions from me. She thinks the daughter is a bit "tightly wound" and needed mom for a baby-sitter so she could hang out with her sorority sisters.

I said, as did my source, that she had firm plans to move out. The motivation for that wasn't given. Although it was pretty easy to assume she didn't like Starkville.

During our search for a head coach, it was indicated in a SC news paper that for EJ to go to another school as a DC...there was a $1MM. buy out..., now according to the article, he could take a HC position, without penalty...

No, I do not have a copy of the article...but I read it thru a link on this board....MSU ain't doing that! So unless Spurrier gets canned or leaves... it is not going to happen.
