Would it surprise any of you to know that we have over 60 individuals making six figures or more in our athletic department?

BS. Maybe in Amite or Pike County. Starkville real estate pricing is offensive and absurd.

Especially more offensive is to live in a town without allure and near nothing - and that includes the university

So you need to BRIBE people with a high salary to even consider the place seriously
I am trying to figure out what is BS. Are you saying $999,000.00 salary per year isn't a lot of money in Mississippi?

Now pull up the file for the rest of the university. Bet it’s even more eye opening.
Keenum makes right at a million overseeing 5,000 employees. The CEO of Cadence bank with the same amount of employees is significantly higher than that. According to a lot of sites which aren’t exactly verifiable, the average is @ 70,000

I wonder how that compares to other schools.

We sure have gotten our money's worth.**
Looking at BAMA's 2022 results, they had $214M in revenue (double ours) and $69M in salaries and benefits or 32% of revenue. They received $52M of revenue from contributions. State's Bulldog Club chipped in $14M to us.

I wish I got ahold of Fish's $$$, but know of a number of "kids" in their late 20's that are very close if not just over $100k already. They are all in different job roles and different industries.
I've seen totally unqualified college grads getting $85k right out of college to fill a role. And yes, it was due to DEI.

I think pretty much everyone has seen that DEI failed to achieve what it set out to achieve. Out of curiosity what was the industry and role?
