Let alone a stadium named after him, had he coached during the internet/technology era? Hell it'd be named Tuscaloosa Memorial if he had been around now. Alabama had a 15 man "rowing team", among others, that allowed 15 more athletic scholarships even though they didn't even have a canoe or oars anywhere on campus. My uncle played for him in the late 60's and the Bama football program was a Thompson Sub Machine gun from qualifying as the mafia. His *** would just be another name in present day college football.
Look at the effects of getting away with cheating just anger decades ago. Is there any wonder why there is much more parity in college football now than ever before? The NCAA is starting to have a little effect on illegal acts in it's sports. Nice to finally see a more level playing field.
