So Stans gets fined for questioning a call in a basketball game. Fine, they're screwing us over by the letter of the law, but what would the SEC office say if another coach from the same university questioned the call? Sounds like childish ********, doesn't it?

But if Mullen released a statement saying that the lane violation was obviously a blown call, would the SEC try to fine him? If Stans called a presser and said the SEC owes MSU an apology for the botched calls in the Houston and LSU games last year, does the SEC fine him? Think about the press that would get...

I haven't read the bylaws so I don't know, but I just think if the SEC is going to keep 17ing us over for questioning what are obviously questionable calls/non-calls, then we need to exploit every loophole possible to bring as much attention to this as we can, and what better way than having our coaches rally around each other. It's sure to grab headlines, which will call attention to the absurdity of the way the SEC treats us as compared to the 'preferred members' of the league.

I'm just sick of getting the screw job and having to swallow that pill season after season.
