Would you marry a much younger women?

On a recent business trip to Manila I saw so many many older men age 65 plus with much younger wives. It seems that has become common with men retired and living in Asia. I'm not talking 20 years younger but more like 20 year old women with 70 year old men.

I would never pass moral judgement but what do the smart posters of the Paddock think?

I'm 28 and I bottom out at 21. The chance that a smoking hot 20 year old is interested in a late 20s guy, and that she doesn't annoy the crap out of me.. Is almost impossible.

I don't want to hear about college class, and you need to be old enough to grab a drink with.

That said.. 21 is a flat cut off.. I could be 28 or 82... Yeah I'll take a 21 year old anyway I can.

#1 benefit of being a wealthy man. You get older, but your girlfriends are always at the physical peaks of their lives. Every old man dreams of banging a very hot 20 something year old. About 99.9% have no chance in hell however.

Nothing worse than being an old man with a young wife. Cuckhold, sucker... you're inviting all the worst of life in. Know your game. Know your limitations. Hit what you should be hitting but hit it hard then hit it twice. The minute you cannot go 15 straight minutes at full power then retire and claim a hollow victory.

the difference in culture in foreign lands would make all the difference. Just like another poster said I wouldn't want to marry that young in the U.S.

I could never do that. I think a lot of these people are either insecure or have crazy egos and overlook that these women are only with them because of their money. I have yet to see any case contradict that. It's always a financial thing.

I'd prefer to be with my wife and grow old together. What the hell do you talk about with someone that much younger than you?

My wife's friend did this and married a guy our parents age and he has money. We went to her birthday dinner about four years ago and at the end of the night it was all of us who were the same age and her husband. It was just very awkward.

Opposite angle: when I was 28 one of my co-workers told a 50-something lady that I was interested in her at bar. She was good looking for being in her 50's, but no thanks. Still, I wanted to be polite so I had a drink with her. All of a sudden another man my age appeared and she introduced me to her son. He knew I was having a drink with her because she was interested in me, and it was a very awkward situation.

I can't imagine how awkward it would be if your date was 30 years younger than you, and when you meet her parents they're younger than you.

OP mentioned being 70ish I think. At 70, I hope I have given up worrying about what others think of me. If I'm single, I'm gonna concentrate on having a good time with what I have left. If her mom is younger than me, then maybe I'll get with her too.

When I was 28 we celebrated my mom's birthday then a few of us took mom to a nice club to have a few drinks as she had never been to one in her life. So I go to the bathroom and when I come back some weird guy around my age was trying to hit on her at the bar. It was really awkward as this guy was clearly a total loser trying to scrounge on a much older woman. My mom wanted to be polite but the guy got drunk and the bouncers had to throw him out. Really embarrassing. I'll never forget "Wayne" and his red thong underwear laying there on the pavement crying.

I disagree. You just have to find the right 20 year old. Lots of pill addicted 20 year olds in my neck of the woods.

Tooth ache > pain pills > pill whores > sex

I kind of did. I met my wife when I was 39 and she was 23. We married a couple of years later. I am 58 now (looking much older, Army life) she is 42 looking like she is still in her early 30's. Many people we meet think that she is my daughter and that my 10 year old is my grand daughter. I have a little fun with that.
