Would you predict MSU to beat Florida at home (or at Florida) this weekend?

Florida has played and beaten 3 teams we will face later this year.
other game Bowling Green: 27-14
@aTm: 20-17
@uT: 37-20
vsKent: 38-0

Florida avg 183 yards passing a game ...110th in nation
Avg 224.5 yards rushing a game ...26th in nation
scores on avg 30.5 points a game ...54th in nation
gives up 12.8 points a game ...14th in nation

Basically, people are saying you can't tell because we haven't played anyone and that is true, but for messageboard posters and games played on paper we could say if you think we could be Florida this weekend, then should beat those 3 teams

I think we match up pretty well with Florida. They would rather run, then throw. We have proven to stop the run against a more prostyle offense in the past, as long as the offensive line is not alabama or lsu. I don't know if we would win at the swamp, but I feel pretty good about us being able to stay with and beat florida at home. I think we would get points at home with a line of something like -2.5 Florida at MSU

I think LSU has some serious questions at QB.

Their offense just don't look all that impressive. At lest it did not against a SEC defense. As far as your original post I think we win at home and lose on the road.

It's almost as if they're starting a guy who's entire 3-year career up to this year was mop-up duty in 1 game against a I-AA team last season. A guy who couldn't even get 1 snap against a I-A team even though both of the QBs in front of him were generally considered to be the weak link on that team. I never understood why so many people were expecting much from him this year.

He may be the most immobile QB in the conference. He is very slow afoot...somebody is going to find a way to capitalize on that before the season is over.

Did anyone watch Florida vs Tennessee? Florida killed UT in the 2nd half and Jeff Driskel ran for 81 yds so he's not immomible at all. Driskel outplayed Tyler Bray considerably in that game. UF had 336 rushing yards and 555 total yards on the Vols. UF would beat us by 2 touchdowns.

Sorry thought you meant Driskel

Expecting an upgrade from Lee was unreasonable,

But I'm not sure it was unreasonable to expect him to be between Jefferson and Lee. A clear downgrade from the LSU toward the beginning of the season, and a clear upgrade from the one at the end of the season. Even as bad as he has been so far, I'm still not sure he's worse than Jefferson.

Does any football connoisseur actually expect a Les Miles' coached QB...

To be worth a 17? Honestly? He's the greatest QB killer in the game today. ****, the guy who he wouldn't put in to give them a glimmer of hope against Bama in BCSNC game, is now #3 backup QB In SD.

He is a complete joke when it comes to QB development.

I agree. He's similar to Houston Nutt.....

He's a good motivator and always has his guys ready to play ball. But his offense is never going to be great and will go as far as the talent takes it. No technical coaching whatsoever. Not right in the head either.
