Really don't have a problem with the way the SEC does it in baseball either, as baseball schedules involve far more games and less than equal schedules. Bothers me not at all they OM was not seeded #1 in a tournament whose very relevance is questioned by some.
I still think the ideal way to settle the conference champion would be the conference tournament seeded by the regular season, that would ensure the coaches do give the tourney its due. But that isn't the way the SEC currently subscribes to.
And yep, as I already acknowledged 8 years (actually only 7) isn't a decade. Guess you glossed over that one.
