Most embarrassing thing this season - not the arrests or emails . The 4th down spike when team gives up on game . Only at Rutgers.

Honestly, the game was over 3 seconds left, wrs weren't anywere aligned for a td play.

This is all on the timeout management of the staff, I've been hard on Laviano ... but there was nothing he could do there.

Pretty sure he opened a wormhole to a new dimension. He should be awarded some sort of Nobel prize. Never seen anything like it.

Letting himself get sacked and then a Mark Sanchez'like stupid decision. Maybe not as bad as the butt-fumble, but still pretty bad.

Time for Rettig. CL is not a leader.

I can accept that maybe we won't field the most talented team. But my God, can we please field a smart, disciplined team, the lack of football IQ on display is alarming!

That was the absolute dumbest thing we will ever see in a football game. Second to that is the fact that our OC and QB cannot get their act together and waste all those timeouts. It was not just tonight...its been all season. This is on the OC and QB. But Laviano goes down in history as the dumbest QB ever...in the history of football...ever...in all history...of football...forever.

That's true it was a low probability opportunity we gave up. BYU connected on 2 of them this year though. So while unlikely still embarrassing. One of the other threads said Wilson took the blame for it and he called it.

Class leadership by our coach if he is taking the heat for CL but CL makes 1-2 critical mental mistakes every game. On a high note he did seem to have more zip on his balls, maybe his issue is mechanics and not a strength.

it was dumb ...not the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Missed out on a low probability play. definitely not worthy of the attention its getting

it was a dumb move but i have many other pressing issues to unloaded upon...

The goal line play calling was terrible on our FG to tie it up. We should have absolutely scored a TD there...did anyone really thing a Tie was going to hold up? Gotta at least give carroo an early shot, not on 3rd and a back shoulder prayer.

If rettig does not play again this year it will be a travesty.

People who say this game was over clearly don't watch college football enough. Games are won every week on hail mary throws. This came down to poor TO management and lack of QB IQ.
Also don't know if any other poster in this thread was in the student section but the consensus around me was that Laviano ruined what was really a well fought game with this and deserves to be sat and made to earn the starting spot back.
