Wow. Carolina schools losing their NCAA tournament early round bias over bathroom rule.

Good short story man.

So the parents chose for her? What if she were more prone to the male side as she got older. That would kinda suck.

I always wondered about that, and had the thought again as I was typing. It was never talked about, but was known. I would assume hormone therapy was in play at some point.

I think to answer what I think you are getting at, that is a special case and should be handled as such. If someone goes through what I described then nobody should fault them if it turns out the parents made the wrong choice. I don't think the parents are to blame, for not wanting their child to grow up ridiculed for being hermi though. They made a decision based on faith and odds I would guess.

About 3% to 5% of the population. That can be seen as significant enough.

Gotta be tough on the family.

I actually agree with the banning of Transgenders in bathrooms. It doesn't bother me to pee around a woman identifying as male. But a lot of America does have a problem with it and it does freak people out. Until society mindset changes, then this issue will always remain open to debate.

are those world population numbers or U.S. numbers? Either way it's more than I would have though, just curious?

The problem with the progressive movement isn't that it's radical, it's that it's being forced on the country at a much quicker rate than what is acceptable by a LOT of people. Not saying I agree with a lot or any of the progressive talking points, just that if you are going to lead the charge for "change", do it the way that guarantees success...unless of course that isn't your goal to begin with.

Do you have a problem sending your daughter into a bathroom by herself with a man who identified as a female just so he can gain entry into the women's room? The law doesn't say you have to be dressed like a woman...only identify.

Here's the solution:

If you have a male organ....boys room.
If you have a female organ....girls room.
And I'm not talking about at birth.

If a male has/had the balls to get his removed to be a woman then he can use any bathroom he wants.

You're post is confusing.

Penis = boys room
*** = girls room

Dude turns to *** = use either bathroom?

I think those are U.S percentages. Although I am not 100% sure. And I agree. You can't force mindsets to change. People will actually resist even stronger. Look how long its taken to deal with Civil Rights and I'm not entirely sure we are even close to coming to a societal compromise on that.

Time is the only thing that can work. Give people enough time and they will change. But forcing never works.

No...dude turns to a *** he uses the girls room. I see now how that sounded confusing lol. I just meant if the dude is all in and brave enough to have his whacker chopped then he has the right to enter the women's room.

Whatever organ your packing at a given moment dictates what room you use. Not just because you are confused at the moment of "feel like a woman/man". Feeling like it is BS...go out and have the surgery and then I will consider you as what you want to be.

Definitely would have a problem. Again, I support transgenders, but at this stage in the game for the bathroom issue, it's going to cause more reactionary harm by forcing society to conform to them. In time it won't be an issue, but it is now.

I think we were a lot closer to civil change 12 years ago than we are today that's for sure. The civil rights problem always makes me think: Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.
Give people just enough to survive and you can control them for decades.

Why have families not fought for family restrooms like transgendered people have for their rights? It sucks being a father with your daughter and her having to go and having to take her into the boys room to let her. Businesses need to recognize the need for single stall family restrooms....Family Lives Matter.

@Willy4UK , dude, you are one of the few posters on this board that I respect. I enjoy your educated point of view on all things psychology and your opinions on most other things as well. I'm not picking an argument with you, just interested on your thoughts.

most others on this site can go fck themselves. :joy:

So what would that be considered if you only wanted to do yourself? Would you be gay?

Well....

Save money from dating, marrying, divorcing.
Not have all the headaches from women/men always being right
Only yourself to worry about

Seems to be that would be the smart/logical choice if you wanted to save money and avoid headaches, right? haha
