Holy **** are the only things that come to mind. I have screwed up at work numerous times and gone home not feeling like I accomplished what I set out to do but if I was Jacob's, I'd be printing out my resume and or looking for tall buildings.

That was NOT Chizik's "airport reception".. that was just the Auburn AD coming back from a meeting somewhere being met by reporters and some fans.

If they hire Chizik then Auburn will make sure to have people there to cheer...

If Chizek doesn't win early, I look for Auburn to be searching for a new AD this time next year.

.....if Chizik will be successful or not. He may end up winning a lot of games, just as Mullen may end up being another crash and burn for MSU. All we know for sure right now is that the perception is that Mullen is a great hire and Chizik is maybe the worst ever.

that Auburn is going to hire a guy that actually made Iowa State worse.

McCarney, the coach before him led them to a 4-8 record, and then Chizek followed that up with a 3-9, and a 2-10.

We can't hire basically any worse than we have hired. And our standards are not nearly as high as these other schools. But it is perfect how much Auburn and Alabama hate each that it gets to the point where Auburn gets rid of a really good coach because Alabama is 12-0 and Auburn is just having a down year on the offensive side and going 5-7.
