Shockey needs to be the physical, go to guy. He had a good 2nd half against TB but now he will be counted on more. Meachem will probably be active now but I'm not expecting him to be Colston's replacement.... atleast not right away. Patten, Henderson, Moore and Copper will be the main WR's this week. None of these four can step up and be the physical WR of Colston but Shockey can get those tough yards. I think we will see Meachem but only in special packages.

Colston would draw a lot of double teams but I doubt any of the other 5 will command a double team. Shockey might be doubled more often or... more single coverage and Washington rush an extra player on Brees. I hope this is the case because Brees is great about finding the open WR quickly and burning the blitz

......to be off the official piece of crap list. Had Henderson one play where he was thrown to not have been a free play and an easy catch it would have bounced off him. I still don't trust him. With 12 out, my trust in the passing game is now high with Shockey, Bush, Moore, and Patten; medium with Copper, Miller, and Campbell; lacking with Meachem and Henderson. Our QB makes it easier to get over right now........

This might explain why they are only a 1 point favorite @ Washington this weekend.

Shockey to the rescue.....

If there's any positive to this at all, the Saints don't have another division game for 6 weeks. And 3 of those games are against The Skins, Niners and Raiders... Not that there's any guaranteed wins in the NFL, but I could think of some other teams I would hate to face even more
