a Mississippi Black Bears message board when I got on here, with all of the MSU Coach bashing.

How many really thought we had the defense to stay with Bama for 3 quarters let alone the offense to even be in the game after half time? Good grief. We scored 6 against LSU, 10 against Georgia and 12 against South Carolina. We had to go to overtime to beat La. Tech. We only scored 21 against UAB who gave up 35 to Memphis. We only scored 28 against Kentucky who gave up 38 to Vandy...Yes...THAT Vandy... who by the way just took our spot in the Music City Bowl and guaranteed a trip to Memphis for us, assuming our offense can score enough to beat Mississippi in the Egg Bowl. And with this offense, that is definitely not a gimme. We will probably have to score a defensive touchdown to beat the reBears.

Soooooo.......From what planet would you have to be from to expect OUR offense to do anything against Alabama's defense?

On one hand it's good that we have fans that expect to win these games.. and especially that when we are given good chances but our coaches seem to hold us back..

But on the other hand this board is unreadable because too many of these posters take it overboard...

would be the extra time we obviously need to learn where the hell to line up on the field before the damned ball is snapped.</p> Edited to add: anyone who thought we had a popsickle's chance in hell against this Alabama team probably wears velcro sneakers.

Spot on. I thought the defense stepped it up. Cam Lawrence is a bad *** white boy, he made a lot of key plays. Offense just cant make plays when it matters.
