Wow, Indiana to start LHP Coursen-Carr. A little info...

He is 5-0 with a 1.80 ERA.

In 60 innings pitched he's given up 50 hits, 25 walks, and 33 Ks. He has hit 9 batters, which leads their team. He has started 10 games but only gotten 5 decisions on the year.

Im not sure if he is a junk throwing lefty or not, but their must be something to him if they are bypassing the Big10 pitcher of the year. They saw something in the matchups.

I wonder if they are going to try the ole, get us in a RH lineup and then switch to a RHP in the early innings like we do? Sounds like a little chess being played and I hope we come ready to play. It helps having two switch hitters in our lineup.

Germans, but good info Cadaver. We have SHELLED the past two freshman that were thrown at us. But you're right. They must just REALLY REALLY REALLY not want to throw a righty to us.

I think I saw him on a Cape Cod roster. Usually pretty tough to get in that league.

But, young kid on a big stage, and not used a lot. We'll see how it goes for them.

Probably means Detz at third and Armstrong at DH tonight.

Just keep the hot bats going and we should be fine. Our pitching won't let us down unless bad defense opens the floodgates for them... And we do that sometimes.

Only difference lately has been if lefty we dh Armstrong and start detz at third. If righty we start frost at third and dh detz. Really no difference. Maybe they want detz at 3b
