This schedule was as easy as it could be and Nebraska still has managed to look unprepared....uncoached....unready to play.

Not gonna lie and ro me it felt like the more talented better team won. Only problem I had coaching wise was I felt they should've took the handcuffs off of TJ after the second drive when we showed that our defense couldn't stop them. Other than that I seen a front seven on their team that COMPLETELY dominated a clearly outmatched front 7 on our defense. Thank God Singelton was there or they would've put a 50 burger up.
They were the better team. Simply put their OL and their DL was better than our DL and OL
It's rare that u win those games when that's the case. Coaching didn't cause that...

This IS Nebraska football. The critics were correct that after TO left, Nebraska would never again have championship football. They were 100% correct.

If someone told us in August we would lose 37-10 to Penn state, no one would have thought twice about it. But because Penn state underachieved this year, everyone is mad. It’s absurd. Everyone knows Penn state had more talent than us. Everyone knows Penn state wants to run the ball. Everyone knows Nebraska can’t stop the run this year. And now everyone is mad we lost. So emotional.

The DL is just not good. Watching them get moved like toys every snap is just insane. I noticed some younger guys getting reps late in the game and honestly they were playing pretty well.
This was who PSU always was and it's only now coming together. They'll still be bowl eligible after beating Rutgers.
Yeah. People don't accept that in college you look at a team in terms of their last four games. That's what the odds makers do. That is why PSU was a heavy favorite. They played tough against OSU until they caved late. They had Indiana beaten except for a miracle catch. They easily beat Mich St away from home. They will blast Rutgers and be bowl eligible.
Nebraska has given up tons of yards on the ground against basically everyone. We gutted out some wins against teams like Maryland, UCLA, and Northwestern. We lost to USC and Michigan at home and could't stop the run at all. We were dominated by Minnesota.
So yeah, what is the surprise here?
I wish it were that simple. This PSU team was different than the team that UCLA beat. You can complain about coaching if you like. But if my OL and DL is better than your DL/OL you are gonna catch hell trying to beat them...

I'm different I guess but i simply watch the game and know what I'm looking at. If you thought this was a good matchup for Nebraska I'm not sure what you been watching all year. Iowa I a horrible matchup as well. Simply put this conference REQUIRES u to have good line play if you wanna win at a high level.

You are correct, 99% of Nebraska fans at the start of the season figured we would lose this game, just that all expected Penn State to have more than 4 wins.
