why would it matter? The winner is going to the BCS NC game. The loser is going to the Sugar Bowl. I doubt the league cares who goes at this point. The only conspiracy theory that would make sense would be protecting them (and UF) during the season to get to this point.
The way Alabama looks right now, they aren't going to need any help to win this game. Just based on our two games with the teams, I kinda had a feeling Alabama was going to win this game. Still early, though, and Jesus Tebow hasn't performed any miracles yet.
