As it was said earlier this week …. ONLY Lame knows what he is gonna do. Newsweek damn sure isn’t in the know! And as that TROLL has stated, “Money isn’t an issue”! So …. It’s up to where that 17r wants to do Hot Yoga the next few years. He will never be more hot than now … can’t see him wanting to stay at the Plantation. But …. Ya never know.

If this is true OM effed up by making him make a statement by the Egg bowl. That was super dumb IMO. Just leave it alone knowing he was likely going to walk at the end of the season. They basically forced Lane to go make the deal public right before a potential playoff birth. Really can’t blame Lane IMO.

I do know one thing, I love to see OM crash and burn

Nothing to do with Newsweek. Done deal.

If the news breaks beforehand, which I expect it to, would you let your coach continue coaching the season out. Me? Hell naw.
Depends on whether or not it could help my school win a national championship. If so, hell yeah I’m letting them continue coaching.

But regardless, they usually have a clause in MOU that if any leak occurs they are allowed to essentially cancel the deal, in order to keep folks quiet. I guarantee you nothing factual will get out before Kiffin’s side is ready for it to be released.

Elitedawgs and SEC Rant aren't exactly great sources either.
Took a look at ED and their post was posted after this post and is just titled prediction. Though the guy did say he has multiple folks swearing on it - but still I don't think OP was using ED as a source.

Lane said that? You believe him? You know damn well money is indeed an issue. There's no telling how much NIL money LSU is sweetening the pot with either.
Money is the answer....what's the question?

“Our sourcing Thursday was pushing us in the direction of believing the most likely outcome to this saga is Kiffin leaving Ole Miss for LSU. LSU boosters were very confident late Thursday. Major donors can be wrong (see last week, Florida), but that type of confidence from heavy hitters usually needs to be taken into consideration. Two sources familiar with LSU’s thinking said Thursday they believe Kiffin will be in Baton Rouge as LSU’s coach a week from Saturday.
One said LSU believes Kiffin wants Carter to force him out so he can be the “victim,” an attempt to shape a post-leaving-before-the-CFP narrative in his favor.
Throw in Matt Zenitz’s post on X Thursday saying “If/when Lane Kiffin is hired as LSU’s head coach, LSU is open to former Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron being part of Kiffin’s staff, sources tell CBSSports,” was also interesting. Zenitz is excellent and that “If/when” wording was intentional.
Another media source, one typically tied in to and accurate as it pertains to Kiffin, told me earlier Thursday the lure of the LSU program, when it comes down to a decision, is simply going to be too strong.”

Calkins on 92.9 in Memphis said there's a team meeting at noon. I think they picked that up from 247. Something is happening today it seems.
