This has got to be a joke.

Super late ETA: I find it funny that all of these holy-rollers seem to forget 2 things: gossip is not a very Christian-like action...and neither is F*CKING ADULTERY. Their coach cheated on his wife, yet he's deemed a man of unshakable faith. Dan supposedly cussed and he's "in a world of trouble"? Sometimes I wish I could push a button and other people's computers would explode in their face.

..back in the day. As opposed to the pagan reprobate, Jackie Sherrill.

These people are idiots. It stands to reason the same bunch who allows the KKK to freely wonder about their campus is determined to subject fellow citizens to religious litmus tests.

First off, this is an ignorant comment from you, a comment that's just about comparable in its ignorance to the comments in that thread.

Off that though, the Spirit crazies annoy the crap out of me with that. Who cares if the coach is a Christian, Scientologist, Atheist, or Agnostic? He's a football coach, and his job is to win games. Give me an Atheist winner over a Christian loser every day. What a coach chooses to believe outside of football is not my business, nor do I care. If he's Christian and a winner, good, but all I really care about is the second part, "winner".

...then stay the hell off this board.

First, Ole Miss doesn't say a word when hate thugs wander around the Oxford campus like they own it.

Now, on the Internet, you'll got Ole Miss idiots trying to guess the validity of peoples' religious acumen.

Ole Miss is an embarrassment to America, & you are an embarrassment to Ole Miss.

Again, you just don't have a clue what happened obviously.

And yes, the Spirit thread is an embarassment, but I've seen the same exact type of threads on Gene's Page. Don't act like our fanbases are that different. We both have our idiot segment.

I visit this board because I enjoy this discussion, but when someone makes a comment just so blatantly stupid and ignorant without any real knowledge of the situation, or at least blatantly ignoring the truth about a situation like you just did, then yes I'm going to call you out for it. I'm sorry if that offends you. My advice next time would be to not make stuff up, and I won't call you out for being an idiot.

Just like MSU has limited options when the tag team preachers show up, UM couldn't do much about the KKK.

when we have more success on the field. I remember the "Jackie's daughter is screwing Moulds" rumor and every Ole Miss fan I knew was repeating it as if they themselves watched them do it. It was a race baiting rumor and it was pervasive. Every UM fan participated in that one just as they will in the next one. You will see.</p>
