keep the ball down and he has put a few in the dirt, but ok overall. He is getting the low strike call and that will be big. He is a fly ball pitcher and that is not good in this stadium so keeping it down is vital.

he isn't gettting shelled, but he defintiely isn't throwing strikes. he's only given up two hits. nice outing, 2.1 IP. jesus christ.
I didn't say he didn't suck. I just said he wasn't get shelled like you stated. His problem was walking people. 2 hits in over 2 innings isn't exactly the def. of getting shelled. Now if he'd had given up about 5 hits in 2+ innings I might agree.
4 pitches. First one is HBP to bring in a run, 3rd one for a 2 run double, 4th one over the catcher for another run. Can't do much worse than that as a reliever.
