Sort of like Breitbart does........you never stop amazing me

Do you know the difference between hard news and opinion pieces? Apparently not. Breitbart makes it clear where they stand, right of center. The WSJ is a hard news media outlet that pro ports to play the new straight. Startling you don't know the difference.

It amazes me that an editor has to tell the reporters to either be balanced or leave the paper. Think about that for a moment.
Someone at the NYT thinks the same way apparently.

New York Times columnist Jim Rutenberg described the thinking behind this new “norm” of objectivity. “If you view a Trump presidency as something that’s potentially dangerous, then your reporting is going to reflect that,” he wrote. “You would move closer than you’ve ever been to being oppositional. That’s uncomfortable and uncharted territory for every mainstream, nonopinion journalist I’ve ever known, and by normal standards, untenable.”

The New York Times has been this way for years. Just looked back at their treatment of both Romney and McCain.

But these aren't normal circumstances is what he was alluding to and by that he is ok with the adversarial approach.
