all this does is make our reputation worse for the future.

Maybe 100 was the magic number. 16's are 0-100 all-time. Eventually, someone will pull the shocker. Honestly, I'd love to see it happen to UK.

This year only though. However, I WAS pulling for Vandy and repect what Pearl has done with Tennessee (pre-Kentucky game meltdown). But I'm glad Florida is gone and hope for a similar fate for Calipari and the One and Dones.

The SEC has been down in basketball for a few years now, and this year was no different. But, if the SEC is suddenly stronger next year, then the conference RPI will be up, and the SEC will get 6 or 7 teams in. Past reputation of the conference has very little effect, if any, on the selection committee.

a stretch of down years and poor tournament play shapes what everyone in basketball thinks of our conference. Im not saying its some overwhelming factor by any means, but when people think of the SEC in terms of strength, they aren't just going to rely on our conf RPI.

Suit me for all the SEC schools to kick back and watch us play on TV even if it is in the NIT.

there may be a perception that the SEC sucks, but that perception is already there. And it's pretty obvious that the selection committee doesn't look at that, based on this year. They look strictly at numbers (RPI, SOS, etc.) The whole "eye test" thing was proven to be ******** when Florida was allowed in.

So go to hell UK and UT.
