Excellent coaching and clock management in second half. 1 penalty for 10 yards. We turned the tables on the turnover battle, and went 3-1. Awesome job all around.
Running on 3rd down, before the FG, didn't make sense, I wanted to kick on that play in case there was a bad snap, but otherwise, I agree.
Team showed heart. Several message board posters showed what they are made of too
Neither did spiking the ball but none of it matters. Great job by the team. The absolute personification of the "chop" today.
Eh, that's a tough one, I get the emotional swings of a game as a fan, I really do, and that 3rd quarter was enough to completely silence the huge crowd at CC tonight, and have a lot of pissed off conversations going on, but so long as you're there at the end, cheering your heart out, shouting the words to "The Bells Must Ring" not once, not twice, not 3 times, but 4 times during the rally, that's all that really matters in the end, right? RU fans, love or hate their HC, were high-fiving, screaming, hugging, dancing, and Lord knows what else, all over the bar. Good stuff!
It most likely would have been a short squib for easy coverage. IMO, the chances of a botched snap/hold are much greater than a miraculous run back off a squib kick. We've had several low snaps /botched holds already this season.
So ... when RU loses, it is the coaches fault. And when RU wins, it is despite the coaches. I got it.
