Heck of a game and the good guys pulled it out. That is a quality win. Depaul will make some noise. That said the officiating were sure whistle happy

True, but we’ve seen NU comsistently improve over the season under CCC. So to escape with a win is what really matters. The team should learn a lot from this game.Hope you are right. DePaul is fine but they’re 111 in KenPom, below basically every Big Ten team. I know it’s early but…

Not sure I agree on Green. He can really shoot it. There’s a role for him. Kropp and West fully agree. We have four guys who can definitely play in the Big Ten … which is a silver lining for a November win. But I think CC may need to tighten the rotation early. Kropp, Green, West all seem overmatched.
Green is over matched currently on defense. Offense not so much. Dude has range and ability to get his own shot. West flashes some good things the feel isn’t there yet. Kropp has the farthest to go but also the most on his plate. We have four guys who can definitely play in the Big Ten … which is a silver lining for a November win. Unfortunately in basketball that is explicitly untrueThe win is all that matters.

We’re four games into their first season at this level. Now is precisely when you play them. Let’s see how they develop. We have four guys who can definitely play in the Big Ten … which is a silver lining for a November win. But I think CC may need to tighten the rotation early. Meh, get the to tournament it’s a good season. NU isn’t fighting for a top seed. Just keep winning.Unfortunately in basketball that is explicitly untrue
I agree, but things like KenPom matter when it comes to making the tournament and seeding, and margin DOES actually matterMeh, get the to tournament it’s a good season. NU isn’t fighting for a top seed. Just keep winning.
Again, the first job is to block out and the second is to get the reboundThey have stopped boxing out on D. Nobody wants to do the dirty work of finding a body and putting a body on it. Hope it becomes a practice point of emphasis.
