Looks like his QB committed to Miami last week, probably influenced his decision.
If any of y'all are planning on opening up a national powerhouse football school, feel free to put in the Omaha/Lincoln area..
Richt's situation is just like Scott Frost's about recruiting in Florida... he can drive to the recruit's house and be home for dinner with his wife in 1 day. For Riley and staff it's a jet plane and 2-3 nights away from home. I personally don't think Hightower was ever really high on us. That being said, it's time to get a commit.
To have a top 15 class for the 2018 class, we need to keep pace with the Tennessees and Washingtons of the college football recruiting world. Getting 1 or 2 commits this month would be ideal. After Fuller Jr. committed in January we were about 15, but since we have fallen to 23.

I can't imagine we want the kind of kid that commits to Miami. I am sure we will be in on better players that are also better fits for the Huskers.
If the kid is tweeting about prayer, Richt's his guy kind of like TO and Ron Brown were for a lot of kids and parents. Richt is a heckuva a good guy that seems like an odd fit for Miami...
This is for the next cycle? I mean I don't wanna say it's awfully early to close the book on his recruitment but um...
