That's the exact way it's supposed to be used. Fast runner, left handed, man on 1st, pushed it half way to third and got on his horse.
I'm not completely against ****ing, when its used correctly and in correct situation. I am against using it and taking the bat out of our better hitters' hands early in a game and giving up outs. You dont do that until you absolutely have no other option: i.e. late in a game and down 1 or similar situation.
