Think the AEW production staff blazed up with the Rascalz before the show tonight because that was a pretty rough performance out of them.

What would your finishing move be and what would you name it?

I prioritized having a unique name then coming up with a move to fit it as opposed to picking a move I like then coming up with a unique name, so I’m going with…

Texas Cloverleaf called The Texas Cloverleaf Massacre. Based on the Texas Chain Saw Massacre

Second choice is an ankle lock called Your Vice is an Ankle Lock and Only I Have the Key. Based on the movie Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key.

Will have to think about that one as far as a finishing move.

Dynamite did 692,000 a .12

Impact did 233,000 and a .05

Also being reported that Ring Of Honor is going to start taping their shows at a TV station in Jacksonville with the first one being this Sunday.

WWE ran that convoluted fake injury angle with Seth Rollins only for The Vision to crumble to pieces to legitimate injuries, karma.

The Vison-Masked Man story is becoming the WWE version of the Adam Cole-MJF/Devil story. So much time invested in it that they don’t want to pivot away from it but it’s also completely undermined by injury.

Speaking of injury, Penelope Ford got hurt yet again tonight. She cannot stay healthy.

Would help matters if Willow and Harley would have caught her instead of being unsafe POS and parted the red sea when she did her move to the outside.

If I'm TK, I'm taking the belts off them next week on Dynamite. Don't want to do your job and protect your opponents? Then you don't deserve to hold title belts. Do the job right or enjoy catering.

Originally they thought it was a broken ankle but may not have been as bad as thought.
I wonder if the Bayne and Ford were supposed to win last night. One thing about AEW is they hardly ever do DQ finishes.

Wrestling is the best. As a kid it was awesome. As a adult I’m amazed how they get their balls to fit in them leather undies. But to be serious.. I could like wrestling if it had characters like back in the day.

Used to be so many legends and distinct characters. Even if you didn’t watch a second of wrestling you knew who the rock was. Knew who triple h and undertaker were. Knew who Goldberg and Stone cold were. Ray mysterio. Kane. Shawn Michaels. The Hardey brothers. Edge. Big show. And of course the older ones like Hulk Hogan and all that generation. Heck you even knew most of their special move names.

I couldn’t name one wrestler today besides the Samoan guy with the long hair. And I can’t name him without looking it up.

You mean the Tribal Chief? Roman Reigns? I mean you're trying to make a point that the 90's guys were distinctive and today's guys are generic, but today's guys are just as distinctive as the 90's at least in WWE. Are there generic wrestlers, you bet, but there are people who stand out as well.

Yes that’s him. My kids love him. And I’m not saying anything bad about now days. It’s just anytime I’ve caught it on tv it seems forced. Like I don’t see any superstars like back in the day. Not even 90s because I was born in 96 but know a lot of the older ones because like I was saying they just were unique and had star power.
Idk if I’m calling them generic now days but it seems watered down. The mic work and storylines. If I’m being honest it don’t seem like it’s full of manly mans like it used to be. It seems pretty rainbowed out these days but what isn’t?

Used to seem like a bunch of guys fighting. Drinking beer doing drugs talking about tits. Blood everywhere. Maybe I just haven’t seen enough lately. Last time I watched it… just seemed excessively…well it rhymes with heeeeeeyyyy

Well that would be because creative teams tend to mirror what's happening in society, so in the 90s that's what was happening, and whether you and I like it or not, what's on our screens in WWE now is more a reflection of today's society than the Attitude Era was. Not saying I'm happy about that, I miss the DX, Stone Colds of the world as well, but take a look around and you'll see that the generation these wrestlers represent on tv are a lot like the generation of people you see on social media.
